Anne Arundel Co. health officer stepping down for public health post with state

Anne Arundel County Health Officer Dr. Nilesh Kalyanaraman, who led the Maryland county through the COVID-19 pandemic, is stepping down from his post to take a top public health role with the state.

Kalyanaraman’s last day with the county will be March 21, before he becomes the deputy secretary for public health services at the Maryland Department of Health, according to a news release from Anne Arundel

In 2007, the growing town was faced with the task of decommissioning its old lagoon wastewater system in favor of a more modern one.

MILAN (Reuters) -Carmaker Stellantis on Wednesday reported a forecast-beating 17% rise in operating profit in the second half of last year on a strong product and pricing mix, despite persistent issues with logistics and semiconductor supply.
